You had me at Monchique
Next was Évora, a city that felt like a step back in time. I loved exploring its cobbled streets, ancient Roman ruins, and quiet little squares. It had such a peaceful, old-world charm.
Then came the Algarve, with its dramatic coastline and relaxed seaside vibe. One of my favorite moments was visiting the quaint village of Monchique, tucked away in the mountains. It was so peaceful and picturesque—full of narrow streets, local artisan shops, and views that stretched for miles. I even tried medronho, a local fruit brandy that definitely warmed me up!
