Hidden Gems & Local Discoveries
If I had more time on a return visit, I would love to spend it exploring San José del Cabo.
Wandering through the Art Walk, browsing the boutique shops and galleries, and finishing the evening with dinner at SAGE in the art district, gave me a real appreciation for the town’s charm, creativity, and authentic character. It’s the kind of place you could easily spend a full day or two discovering.
Equally memorable was exploring the Sierra de la Laguna range, where our local tour operator DMC InCabo Travel took us to see a real-life oasis hidden amongst the desert landscape before heading to Rancho Ecologico Sol De Mayo where you can do a short hike leading to a stunning crystal clear waterfall.
It was such an unexpected contrast and one of those moments that made me appreciate just how diverse Los Cabos really is, with so much more to discover beyond its beautiful beaches.
