Amy has over 15 years of experience in the travel industry, helping clients turn their travel ideas into memorable holidays. Over the years, she has planned everything from family holidays and relaxing escapes to cruises, touring holidays and more complex, tailor-made itineraries.

Her experience as a travel agent, combined with her own travels across all seven continents, has given Amy an extensive knowledge of both domestic and international travel.

For Amy, travel is about more than simply getting from one place to another. It is about finding the right experience for each person and helping make the whole journey as easy and enjoyable as possible, from the initial planning through to the trip itself.

Some of Amy’s most memorable travel experiences have taken her to some incredible corners of the world.

Antarctica is one destination that particularly stands out. In 2025, Amy experienced an Antarctic expedition with Viking, giving her first-hand knowledge of what it is really like to travel to one of the most remote places on earth. From expedition landings and wildlife encounters to life onboard an expedition ship, this experience allows her to offer genuine advice on what to expect, how to prepare and whether an Antarctic expedition is the right style of travel for you.

As a mum herself of young children, Amy understands the extra planning that comes with travelling as a family.

From choosing the right accommodation and room configurations to keeping travel times manageable and finding activities everyone will enjoy, she knows that the little details can make a big difference when travelling with children.

Amy particularly enjoys creating tailor-made family itineraries, taking into account the ages and interests of the children while balancing sightseeing with plenty of downtime. She can help with everything from child-friendly hotels and resorts to transport, tours and experiences, while making sure the itinerary flows and isn’t trying to fit too much into each day.

Whether it’s a family cruise, first overseas holiday or a more involved multi-destination adventure, she loves creating trips that are enjoyable for the whole family and leave children with some pretty special memories along the way.

Amy believes great travel is about getting the planning right, while still making sure there is plenty of room for those unexpected moments that often become the best part of a trip.

For her, the most memorable holidays are the ones you come home from with great stories, new experiences and a desire to see somewhere new, and helping her clients create those memories is one of the things she enjoys most about being a travel agent.
