For Ben, travel has always been about the moments that stay with you long after you return home – the silence of drifting through Arctic ice, the first glimpse of the Northern Lights dancing across the sky, or standing just metres from a colony of king penguins on a remote beach in South Georgia.

With more than 20 years in the travel industry, Ben combines extensive firsthand experience with a calm, highly personalised approach to planning travel. He specialises in premium and experiential journeys, with a particular passion for Scandinavia, Iceland, expedition cruising, polar regions and wildlife-focused travel.

Scandinavia, Iceland & The Northern Lights

Over the years, Ben has travelled throughout Scandinavia and Iceland multiple times, returning in different seasons to experience everything from frozen Nordic winters and dramatic fjords to endless summer daylight above the Arctic Circle.

One of the experiences that continues to draw him back is chasing the Northern Lights, which he has now witnessed across four different countries. Whether travelling through remote parts of Norway, Icelandic landscapes shaped by volcanoes and glaciers, or small Arctic communities far from the crowds, Ben loves helping clients experience the quieter, more immersive side of the Nordic world.

Expedition Cruising & Polar Regions

Expedition travel has become another major passion. Ben has sailed through Antarctica, Greenland, the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Svalbard, exploring some of the most remote and extraordinary places on Earth.

These journeys have brought unforgettable encounters with wildlife – watching humpback whales surface beside expedition ships, spotting polar bears against the Arctic ice, and standing among thousands of penguins on the beaches of South Georgia.

For Ben, expedition cruising is about far more than simply reaching a destination. It is about the experience of being immersed in landscapes that feel untouched, travelling with expert guides and naturalists, and returning home with stories that stay with you for years to come.

Australia

While Ben’s travels have taken him to some of the world’s most remote regions, Australia remains a destination he is equally passionate about.

Tasmania in particular has become a favourite, with frequent visits over the years. From luxury lodges and winding coastal drives to cool-climate wineries and rugged wilderness, Ben believes Tasmania offers some of Australia’s most rewarding travel experiences and continues to discover something new with every visit.

He especially enjoys helping clients experience Australia beyond the obvious – combining luxury accommodation, regional food and wine, wildlife encounters and spectacular natural scenery into journeys that feel both relaxed and memorable.
