Ziplining in Fiji: Soar Through Paradise

If you’re looking to add a dose of adventure to your tropical escape, ziplining in Fiji is an experience you won’t want to miss. With lush rainforests, dramatic landscapes, and sweeping ocean views, Fiji is home to some of the most exhilarating zipline tours in the South Pacific and Zip Fiji Momi is among the very best.

For our family, the perfect holiday strikes a balance between relaxation and adventure. We love easing into resort life, unpacking, unwinding, and soaking in the slow pace but equally enjoy stepping out for a bit of excitement. One of the highlights of our trip was, without a doubt, our ziplining day at Zip Fiji Momi.

Our adventure started with a private transfer from the Sheraton, taking us on a scenic 45-minute drive to the park. Along the way, we passed through charming Fijian villages. On arrival, we were welcomed by the warm and enthusiastic Zip Fiji team their genuine hospitality instantly set the tone for the day.

After checking in, we were fitted with harnesses and helmets and received a thorough safety briefing. The guides were fantastic, knowledgeable, attentive, and reassuring, especially helpful for the kids.

The zipline course includes 16 giant lines that span across canyons, caves, and mountaintops. The longest line stretches 250 meters and offers heart-racing speeds paired with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the ocean beyond.

The entire experience took around three hours, taking us through three unique ecosystems and offering an unforgettable way to see Fiji from above. A highlight of the tour is flying through the historic OHO Cave, where ancient Fijians once sought refuge, a reminder of the island’s deep cultural roots.

After the last thrilling zip, we returned to base camp for a light and satisfying lunch of sandwiches and fresh tropical fruit just what we needed after an action-packed morning.

Before heading back to the hotel, we made a detour to Natadola Bay for a peaceful horseback ride along the beach. It was the perfect contrast to the adrenaline of ziplining, quiet, scenic, and slow-paced. We finished the visit with fresh coconuts, kindly offered by local vendors, a simple but unforgettable island moment.

After a day filled with adventure, natural beauty, and family fun, we sank into the comfort of our private transfer back to the resort. One of the perks of a private driver? The freedom to make spontaneous stops, like a quick ice cream break, much to the kids’ delight.

We arrived back in the late afternoon, pleasantly exhausted and with phones full of memories, from soaring through the treetops to riding horses along one of Fiji’s most beautiful beaches. It was a brilliant day.
